This page explains how promotion observations are recorded on PFTrace.

Observation Process

• Promotion data is collected through scheduled daily snapshots
• Each snapshot represents a point-in-time observation
• PFTrace does not perform real-time monitoring or crawling

Change Trace

Change Trace represents the dates on which promotion snapshots were recorded. It does not describe, infer, or interpret changes between promotions.

Clarification

Differences between snapshots are not analyzed or explained by PFTrace.

Boundary Statement

PFTrace records observations only and does not infer promotion status, continuity, or intent.
